Test Results
Test results can only be discussed with patients by a doctor. Reception and nursing staff are not qualified to discuss results with you; however, they can help you make an appointment for results discussion. Results must be interpreted by the doctor while maintaining 100% confidentiality.
You may ring to see if your results are available for discussion and make an appointment to discuss this with your doctor. We also issue reminder letters for ongoing health concerns. Also, all relevant information is sent to the appropriate bodies for recording on national/state/territory reminder systems/registers.
Telephone calls and Communication by Electronic Means Policy:
Generally, our doctors are unable to take calls unless it is regarding emergency care. This is to minimise interruptions during consultations. You may leave a message with the reception staff or alternatively please book a consultation with your doctor if there is something you need to discuss.
We do not encourage the use of email or fax as a means of communication between patient and doctor. Patient complaints however can be emailed to info@keilordownsmedi.com.au and directed to the Practice Manager.
